Technical Competencies required:

  • VR Development:
    • Proficiency in the latest versions of Unity or Unreal Engine, with knowledge of the latest VR development features and updates.
    • Familiarity with emerging VR hardware and platforms, including standalone headsets and hand tracking technologies.
    • Experience with Web-XR and other web-based VR technologies for creating immersive experiences accessible through web browsers.

  • 3D Modeling:
    • Mastery of advanced techniques in 3D modeling software such as Blender for creating 3D models assets optimized for VR.
    • Knowledge of procedural generation and parametric modeling for dynamic and scalable VR environments.

  • Programming Skills:
    • Proficiency in shader programming and GPU optimization techniques for achieving realistic lighting and visual effects in VR.
    • Experience with machine learning and AI technologies for implementing intelligent behaviors and interactions in virtual environments.
    • Knowledge of Web3D and blockchain technologies for developing decentralized VR applications and virtual worlds.
  • Performance Optimization:

  • Expertise in performance profiling and debugging tools for identifying and resolving bottlenecks in VR applications.
  • Understanding of techniques for reducing motion sickness and improving comfort in VR experiences, such as advanced locomotion systems and haptic feedback integration.
