About Us:
The UM6P Vanguard Center at Mohammed VI Polytechnic University, an institution dedicated to advancing research and innovation in Africa, is seeking a talented 2D/3D Graphics Developer to join our team. This role will involve creating interactive 2D/3D applications to support learning and interdisciplinary research, contributing to transformative solutions in fields such as smart manufacturing, cybersecurity, agriculture, digital twins.
Position Summary:
As a Virtual Environment and Digital Twin Developer, you will work closely with the multidisciplinary team within the UM6P Vanguard Center to design, animate, and integrate high-quality graphic assets that support educational programs, digital twin development, and applied research initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- 3D Asset Creation: Develop and optimize 3D environments, characters, and assets using Blender, Maya, or 3ds Max.
- Unity Integration: Seamlessly incorporate 3D models, animations, and UI design into Unity, building WebGL applications.
- Animation and Rigging: Apply advanced rigging and animation techniques, ensuring fluidity and performance.
- Digital Twin Support: Collaborate in developing 3D representations and simulations of physical systems for digital twin projects.
- Collaboration & Problem-Solving: Work with designers, engineers, and animators to drive asset development from concept to production, solving technical challenges and enhancing workflow efficiency.
Profile recherché
Required Skills
- Modeling & Animation Proficiency: Experience in Blender, Maya, Substance Painter, and Unity.
- Scripting & Programming: Strong knowledge of C# and scripting within Unity for interactivity.
- Digital Twin Concepts: Understanding of digital twin technologies and how 3D graphics integrate with real-time data simulation.
- Lighting & Rendering Expertise: Ability to create real-time and pre-rendered visuals with dynamic lighting.
- Teamwork & Communication: Collaborative mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Extended Knowledge: Familiarity with Unreal Engine, Agile methodologies, USD workflows, advanced rendering techniques (Blender Cycles/Eevee), and data integration for digital twin frameworks.
