Job Title: Technician in Analytical Chemistry (CDD de 12 Mois)
Job description:
African Sustainable Agriculture Research Institute (ASARI) at Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P) – Laayoune, is seeking applications for technician in the field of Analytical Chemistry. Candidates should hold a bachelor degree in Chemistry. The successful candidate must have the ability to engage professionally with a diverse population of faculty, staff, and students across the university and externally is required. The evidence of research excellence is expected.
Key duties:
Successful candidate is expected to:
- Prepare the necessary samples to keep the ongoing laboratory activities
- Extract and characterize biochemicals from the biomass and its derivatives using (HPLC, GC, LC-MS/MS, PLE and other techniques)
- Ensure the management of laboratory reagents and consumables.
- Participate in the daily management of various complexities laboratory equipment and maintain their proper functioning.
- Participate in the creation of the laboratory protocols and procedures.
- Maintain a positive attitude in the workplace.

It is located in Laâyoune City and constitutes a structure of practical-based research with a vision of solving real Local, Regional, and African agriculture challenges leveraging up-to-date science and technology.
