Primary Responsibilities
• Promote & develop O&G Downstream services with a focus on Oil Condition Monitoring services.
• Selling a range of SGS services related to oils and fluids, technical analysis, and condition monitoring to generate new customers and new profitable revenues in line with business strategy.
• Services include transformer oils testing, oil condition monitoring analysis of new and used lubricating oils, greases, hydraulic fluids, and fuels including measuring, monitoring and data analytical services.

Key accountabilities
• Identify, contact and develop new customers who have never previously traded with SGS.
• Identify new opportunities within existing customers and re-engage lapsed customers.
• Present SGS products and services to potential new, existing, and lapsed customers
• Create compelling business cases to encourage customers to place work with SGS.
• Prepares quotations, service agreements and tenders within set deadlines, and follow-up.
• Generate new business revenues for SGS to meet budgetary and strategic goals.
• Maintain and develop personal knowledge and industry expertise.
• Support execution team and provide awareness raising and training presentations to customers.
• Stay ahead of market trends.
• Identify and react to new and developing market, competitor, and regulatory developments to ensure SGS takes advantage of all market opportunities.
Profile recherché
Qualifications
• Master’s or Engineering degree in Mechanical or Electromechanical engineering
7 to 10 years’ experience in technical sales, preferably in condition monitoring or power transformer industry.
• Significant experience in a highly technical B2B environment
• Experience working in an environment aligned to the technical aspects of this role.
• Experience working successfully within a performance measured CRM based sales environment.
• Meeting with customers and presenting effectively with a history of closing sales.
• Packaging and bundling services to ensure sales opportunities are maximized within and across direct area of responsibility.
• Experience with budgeting and sales forecasting.
• Proven track record of delivering customer Service Excellence

• In depth understanding of the specific market or a similar transferrable market sector
• Strong sales focus with a drive to succeed identifying and securing new business.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, able to develop positive working relationships at all levels.
• Excellent communication skills; verbal, written, listening and presentation.
