1. Mission

A Senior scientist position is available in Battery Materials Engineering to conduct advanced research in the development of industrial process of Battery Materials and Electrolyte, Setting up cut-edge Battery Lab (Coin & Pouch Cell), and Optimization of chemical analyses and quality control methods.

The objective of this position is to develop innovative approaches for the fabrication of different electrode materials (with different chemistries) and Electrolyte formulation. The candidate will be in charge of implementing high-quality R&D Laboratory and developing quality controle methods. He is expected to contribute to high-quality publications and support technology transfer through applied research collaborations.

2. Principale Activities

Conduct research and development in Battery Materials and Electrlyte Engineering covering all the chemistries,
Develop innovative scalble process of Battery Matrials production .
Implement and Optimize the chemical analyses and quality control methods
Collaborate on technology maturation projects, bridging academic research and industrial applications.
Write scientific publications, patents, and technical reports.
Co-supervise trainee (Master and Engineers)

Profile recherché

Main skills


Strong expertise in Chemical Process for the fabrication of Battery Materials
Experience in industry in relation with the Battery components (Electrodes, Electrolyte)
Proficiency in different material analysis methods (XRD, ICP, SEM, BET..) and Battery cycling tests
Proficient in the management of the technical aspects of a R&D Lab including Quality Controle.
Experience in project management and technology development.
Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and industrial partners.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Fluent in French and English.

Diploma required


Doctorate in Battery Materials, Process Engineering, or equivalent field.
More than 7 years of experience in industrial fields, R&D in relation with the needed expertise.
