Role Overview:

The Senior DevOps Specialist is responsible for automating, optimizing, and ensuring the reliability of application deployment processes. This role involves configuring, maintaining, and monitoring Red Hat OpenShift environments, managing Kubernetes clusters, and troubleshooting CI/CD pipelines to support development and operations teams. The specialist will ensure high availability, scalability, and security of cloud-based and on-premises infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Infrastructure Automation & Optimization: Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using Docker, scripting (Bash, Python), and monitoring tools (Prometheus).
• Kubernetes & OpenShift Management: Deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes environments.
• System Administration: Manage and monitor Linux/Unix OS and VMware environments, ensuring system stability and performance.
• Networking & Security: Ensure strong IP networking configurations and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
• Database & Data Streaming: Work with Kafka for data streaming, NoSQL (MongoDB), and SQL (PostgreSQL) databases.
• Collaboration & Process Improvement: Work closely with developers, testers, and system engineers to improve efficiency and reliability of deployment processes.
• Incident Resolution & Monitoring: Implement proactive monitoring solutions and respond to system incidents effectively.

Ideal Candidate Profile:
The ideal Senior DevOps Specialist is a problem solver with strong expertise in DevOps practices, cloud-native technologies, and automation tools. They are proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to improving system performance and reliability.

Must-Have Qualifications:

• Extensive experience with RedHat OpenShift and Kubernetes.
• Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix OS administration and VMware.
• Expertise in CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and scripting with Bash/Python.
• Hands-on experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus) and troubleshooting infrastructure issues.
• Strong understanding of IP networking and security best practices.
• Familiarity with Kafka data streaming, NoSQL (MongoDB), and SQL (PostgreSQL).
• Proficiency with DevOps-related tools like JIRA and Windows Server.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with RADIUS, SNMP (UDP & TCP), and API development.
• Knowledge of AI & LLM models in DevOps automation.
• Certifications in Linux or Agile methodologies.
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with tools like MS Office, JIRA, Confluence, and Slack.
