Key Duties:

  • Assist the Project Manager in developing project plans and schedules.
  • Managing projects and collaborations with various research entities.
  • Organize and facilitate team meetings, including setting agendas, tracking action items, and preparing the Procès-Verbal (PV).
  • Monitor project progress, maintaining updated documentation, and preparing progress reports for stakeholders.
  • Provide technical expertise, contribute to scientific publications, and support the preparation of research content for funding applications.
  • Supervise research assistants or interns involved in project activities.
  • Present research findings and project outcomes at conferences, workshops, and stakeholder meetings.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and French.
Profile recherché

Qualifications:

  • Ph.D. or a master’s degree with at least five years of experience in Remote Sensing, Geoinformatics, Agronomy, or a related field.
  • Experience in both national and international research projects.
  • Experience in multidisciplinary international collaboration projects.
  • Expertise in remote sensing and/or vegetation mapping, and geospatial data analysis.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
  • Effective project coordination and management abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
