The school is seeking candidates with ambitious career goals, preferably with direct relevance for the African continent. Readiness to be a self-starter is essential.
Job Duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Performing research in the field of quantitative finance.
- Conducting data collection and literature reviews.
- Providing statistical and analytical support to the research team.
- Simulation and Modeling: Developing mathematical models or equations based on research objectives and incorporating concepts of quantitative finance as necessary.
- Writing code: Developing and implementing algorithms, numerical methods, or statistical models using programming languages such as R, Python, MATLAB, and more.
- Collaborating on the production of research publications.
- Working in conjunction with other research team members to ensure the achievement of project goals and deadlines.
- Collaborating with fellow researchers to deliver quantitative research projects.
- Contributing to the publication of reports and articles in top-rated journals.
Required Skills:
- Applicants must have a master's degree in quantitative finance, engineering, statistics, operational research, mathematics, or an equivalent field.
- Candidates must possess strong programming skills in languages such as MATLAB, R, Python, or C++.
- Excellent command of English and strong communication skills.
- Critical and conceptual thinking skills are essential.
Profile recherché
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with quantitative research methods and models is preferred.
- Knowledge of financial markets (e.g., instruments, financial modeling, econometrics, financial risk management, etc.) would be advantageous.
- Demonstrated research activity and published work is desirable.
- Willingness to pursue Ph.D. studies is encouraged.

Location: ABS has its main campus in Rabat and is a part of Mohamed IV Polytechnic University (UM6P) which is in Ben Guerir, Morocco, near Marrakesh. This position will be based in Rabat.
