Hexcel is currently seeking a Quality Engineer for our Casablanca, Morocco location.
The selected individual will be responsible for but not limited to the following obligations:
- Lead the quality activities for the assigned programs throughout their life-cycle: contract review, trials, NPI and FAI, customer claims and scrap reduction
- Experience regarding shop floor quality requirements, strong knowledge in quality methods (PPAP, FMEA, APQP, 8D, Control plan, root cause analysis).
- Undertake investigations and data/statistical analysis exercises for the department to support customer initiatives and quality improvement.
- Support quality system and process reviews to ensure Plant QMS is robust and opportunities for improvement are addressed.
- Understand and support the maintenance of ERP/QMS systems for customer specification requirements and internal documentation systems.
- Identify improvement opportunities of the Quality Department and champion streamlining projects (5S, LEAN, continuous improvement, etc.).
- Conduct internal and external audits as required.
Profile recherché
- Engineering degree in a Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering schools
- Minimum of 5 years of applicable experience in a manufacturing industry in quality department.
- Ability to analyze technical requirements of contracts, drawings and specifications to develop quality plans.
- Good flexibility between deep dive and fisheye view as priorities of the projects evolve.
- Familiarity or hands-on experience with measurement and inspection equipment. Knowledge on lab equipment or software programs is a plus.
- Proven records of negotiation skills related to critical customer claims
- Python/Opencv/VBA/Vision Control programming skills are an asset.
- Hands-on experience with installation or troubleshooting quality equipments (e.g: lab, inspection, sensors, HMI, …) . Ability to self-develop on new technologies/equipments and seek support of expert members from central functions.
- Lean/Six Sigma experience and Internal auditor certification preferred.
- Knowledge of AS9100 and NADCAP requirements.
