As a QHSE Intern at IKEA Zenata, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of safety, health, and environmental protection within our operations. You will gain invaluable hands-on experience in a collaborative and supportive environment while contributing directly to the success of our team.

The primary objective of this internship is to provide you with practical experience in implementing and improving our QHSE management system. You will learn to identify potential hazards and implement solutions, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. A key objective is to contribute to a safe and healthy work environment for all employees and help reduce our environmental footprint. This involves working closely with the team to analyze current processes, identify areas for improvement, and propose innovative solutions. The internship will enable you to develop essential skills in quality control, environmental protection, and risk management within a large-scale distribution setting. By the end of the internship, you will have a strong understanding of the importance of a robust QHSE system and how it contributes to sustainable business practices.

Your day-to-day tasks will include supporting the team in various QHSE projects. This includes but is not limited to:

• Assisting in the implementation and maintenance of the QHSE management system
• Conducting regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards
• Developing and implementing corrective and preventive actions
• Participating in the investigation of accidents and near misses
• Preparing reports and presentations on QHSE performance
• Supporting the team in environmental monitoring and compliance activities
• Collaborating with other departments to promote QHSE awareness

You will also have the opportunity to participate in training sessions and workshops, furthering your knowledge and expertise in this area. To be considered for this internship, a minimum educational level of Bac +3 is required. A specialization in Production / Quality / Safety / Maintenance or a related field is highly preferred. This internship provides an excellent opportunity to apply your academic knowledge and acquire practical skills in a real-world setting. We value candidates with a strong academic record who demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

While prior experience is not mandatory, 1 to 2 years of experience in a related field is a plus. However, enthusiasm, a proactive attitude, and a strong work ethic are highly valued. The internship is designed to provide training and development, so if you are eager to learn, demonstrate your abilities and are a quick learner, this experience will be highly beneficial.

The ideal candidate possesses a strong understanding of QHSE principles and practices. The ability to work both independently and as part of a team is essential. Key skills include:
