As a Program Officer at UM6P-ISE Center for Teaching Excellence (CTE), you will be responsible for coordinating and managing various training programs and projects.

You will work collaboratively with the faculty and staff of the Institute of Education Sciences (ISE) to ensure the effective execution of educational initiatives and the achievement of CTE goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. CTE Program Development and Planning:
    1. Collaborate with faculty to identify program needs and goals.
    2. Assist in the development of new academic programs, courses, and curricula.
    3. Create and maintain program timelines and project plans.

  1. CTE Program Implementation:
  1. Coordinate program logistics, including scheduling, resources, and facilities.
  2. Monitor program progress and adjust as necessary to meet objectives.

  1. Support of CTE Program Participants:
    1. Provide guidance and support to CTE program participants regarding program requirements and academic planning.
    2. Assist with program admissions, advising, and registration processes.
    3. Address CTE program participants’ inquiries and concerns related to programs.

  1. Faculty and Staff Recruitment and Collaboration:
    1. Facilitate communication and collaboration among faculty, staff, and CTE program stakeholders.
    2. Assist in recruiting CTE faculty and instructors.
    3. Organize support necessary for the CTE faculty in the program delivery.
  2. Data Analysis and Reporting:
    1. Collect and analyze data related to CTE program effectiveness and outcomes.
    2. Collaborate on reports and presentations on CTE program performance for stakeholders.

  1. Budget Management:
    1. Assist in the development and management of CTE program budgets.
    2. Monitor expenditures and ensure fiscal responsibility.

  1. Marketing and Promotion:
    1. Collaborate with the marketing team to promote CTE programs and initiatives.
    2. Participate in outreach efforts to attract CTE program participants.
  2. Policy and Compliance:
    1. Stay informed about higher education regulations, and policies.
    2. Ensure CTE program compliance with relevant rules and guidelines.

  1. Continuous Improvement:
    1. Identify opportunities for CTE program enhancement and improvement.
    2. Implement best practices and innovative approaches to CTE program delivery.

A successful candidate for the position of Program Officer at UM6P Center for Teaching Excellence (CTE) will have the following characteristics.

Fluency in written and spoken Arabic, English, and French.

Education:

A master’s or doctoral degree in education, instructional design, curriculum development, or a related field.

Experience:

Experience in educational program development and management.

Familiarity with higher education environments, faculty development, or teaching and learning initiatives.
