PRESENTATION OF THE TEAM:

The HR & Communication team defines and drives AXA GBS people strategy, operating as a strategic business partner for the Executive Leadership team to enable them to deliver their strategic business priorities. The HR and Communication team is composed by a set of Centers of Expertise, Transversal teams, and a Shared Services Center.

As part of AXAllence transformation program, project Magnet aims to bring live a new Employee Value Proposition based on a skills-first approach. The ambition is for AXA GBS to become a skills-based organization able to anticipate and effectively respond to new capabilities building, by reallocating resources in response to shifting partners’ demand, enabling the Business teams to seize new opportunities more effectively, and by redeploying resources impacted by the automation of transactional activities and processes.

The skills-based job architecture that lies at the heart of the organization enables AXA GBS to turn the workforce transformation strategies into practical role-based learning programs that help close skills gaps. The role-based learning approach is a model which automatically connects learners with content that is relevant to their current roles and/or the roles they aspire to hold. Concretely, the role-based learning model requires to map each role with a series of learning opportunities enabling employees to develop the required competencies and skills.

In this context, the Learning and Talent Development team is responsible for:

Learning:

  • Defining the L&D strategy in line with the Strategic Business priorities and driving its execution.
  • Driving the transformation (people, process, systems) aiming at implementing across AXA GBS a role-based learning approach according to the design principles of a skills-based organization.
  • Ensuring AXA GBS transitions into a continuous learning organization by strongly collaborating with the business, by changing the way of learning and by promoting fit for purpose Learning opportunities.
  • Enabling the business transformation by developing and delivering a global in-house learning offer for individual & collective upskilling and reskilling needs (both on soft and technical skills), leveraging internal and external pools of resources.

Talent & Leadership Development:

  • Ensuring that AXA GBS systematically identifies, develops and retains crucial Talent profiles (as-is, future) by designing and implementing adequate development programs and processes based on people segments and skillsets.
  • Fostering a culture of accountability, ownership and an outcomes-driven performance management through the development and implementation of fit-for-purpose leadership development programs.
  • Promoting internal job mobility and connecting employees to career growth opportunities.

POSITION MAIN ACTIVITIES:

  • Be a conduit on changing mindsets by focusing on educating and preparing individuals for modern workplace learning, nurture individuals to acquire skills and make the most of learning using technology.
  • Coaching individuals to recognize that they learn from their daily work and daily interactions with their peers; inspiring individuals to manage their own professional development and develop managers to be able to support learning in their teams.
  • Devise an effective performance consulting approach by working collaboratively with the business teams as strategic partners.
  • Develop and implement AXA GBS L&D strategy, leveraging AXA Entities and AXA Group programs.
  • Perform assessment of L&D needs in terms of business requirements and create a suitable framework for competency-based learning needs in line with business strategic priorities.
  • Devise a robust plan for technical & behavioral trainings for the business; build a continuous learning culture to ensure employees are self-learning, sharing their learning and creating an environment to learn from each other.
  • Work closely with multiple stakeholders in business lines/countries, liaising with the local/global HR teams in order to build trust and credibility around AXA GBS L&D Strategy and service offerings.
  • Provide insights and execute specific talent management practices along with the strategic workforce planning team, HRBP and business team to upskill and reskill the workforce.
  • Devise a suitable career framework as per defined people segmentation, and learning path for the employees to build an engaged workforce where people feel that their development is of paramount importance.
  • Ensure the implementation, follow-up and operational management of learning. Constantly assess the effectiveness of the programs delivered for continuous improvement purpose.
  • Establish a pool of vendors (Technical & Behavioral) to collectively partner in enhancing the competence in conjunction with the business roadmap
  • Design & develop the learning content, learning policies, and artefacts.
  • Review the SOP’s periodically to ensure the quality of the SOP’s are in line with industry standards.
  • Manage a team of L&TD professionals.
  • Manage the learning and development budget.

Profile recherché

PROFILE, SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:

  • 15+ years of corporate experience in consulting & GCC with strong foundation in instructional design, training methodologies, and adult learning principles is essential.
  • Business consulting/strategic consulting skills with proven track record.
  • High business acumen - Understanding of the organization's business operations, industry trends, and strategic goals.
  • Ability to analyze learning needs, design effective learning solutions, and facilitate engaging and impactful learning experiences.

Skills:

  • Analytical mindset: High on data analysis and evaluation methodologies to assess the effectiveness and impact of learning programs. Ability to collect and analyze data, identify key performance indicators, monitor, and publish L&TD metrics and KPIs to the stakeholders to help them make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
  • Project management: Managing multiple learning initiative simultaneously. Plan, execute, and monitor projects to ensure successful delivery of learning programs.
  • Change management: Understand change management principles, anticipate resistance, and develop strategies to promote adoption and engagement.
  • Technology Literacy: Expert in learning technologies and digital tools that support online and blended learning. This includes learning management systems, virtual classrooms, e-learning authoring tools, and data analytics platforms.
  • Learner’s mindset: Given the dynamic nature of learning and development, stay updated on emerging trends, research, and best practices in the field and actively seek professional development opportunities to enhance self’s skills and knowledge.
  • Communication & Influence: Great communicator (Verbal & Written) and ability to positively influence various stakeholders.
  • Innovative thinking: Appreciate and propose new ideas and solutions, while keeping a pragmatic eye.

Certifications:

  • Certification in facilitation either by DDI, Dale Carnegie or any other equivalent body.
  • Certification in adult learning principles, change management, coaching will have an upper hand.
