Poste
Responsibilities:
- Assisting in setting up a finance department in-country – focus on financial accounting and regulatory compliance.
- Interface between Capital Expertise (local financial consulting company) and PWM finance team.
- Validation of the transactions journal entries – in line with Local GAAP and US GAAP standards.
- Responsible for Asset Accounting, Project Control, and Investment Agreement monitoring.
- Supporting the subvention process (gathering documents, allocating to correct categories, preparing document checklist).
- Supporting the establishment of internal control processes compliant with corporate and Moroccan regulations.
- Supporting preparation of year-end reporting and financial statements.
- Acting as the primary contact for the local operations team to gather requests for financial information.
- Supporting annual budgeting, monthly forecasting, and month-end reporting.
- Supporting implementation of the ERP system (Iteration 3).
Profile recherché
Requirements:
- A Master’s degree in finance, audit, or accounting from ISCAE, ENCG, or a recognized Moroccan university would also be considered.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar function.
- Fluent in French and English.
- Well-organized and detail-oriented.
- Proficient in Office 365 tools (Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience with SAP would be an advantage.
- Professional qualification (CIMA, ACCA, DSCG, or equivalent).
- Ability to work in an unstructured, startup environment.
