About Center for Remote Sensing Applications (CRSA):
The Center for Remote Sensing Applications (CRSA) is a transversal structure within UM6P that aims to develop methods & tools using multi-source remote sensing data in an approach combining remote sensing, process modeling, and field measurements. The CRSA intends to conduct innovative applied research in water, agriculture, and soils. To solve the problems of monitoring and sustainable management of natural resources based on scientific collaborations with high-level international universities. Missions or tasks:
The candidate will
1) Prepare the dataset
2) test different algorithms used in data fusion
3) test several statistical models to evaluate the robustness and weakness of each algorithm.
Profile recherché
Desired Pre-requisits/skills:
- Last year Master students with experience in big data;
- Experience with R or Python programming;
- Experience in spatial-temporal data manipulation, & data analysis and interpretation;
- Experience in developing, implementing data exploration, sampling, training data generation, model building, and performance evaluation;
- Ability to work and learn autonomously & to work well in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
