The Password Hunting Credentials Service plays a crucial role in the Cyber Defense service, focusing on identifying and mitigating risks associated with compromised credentials and potential password leaks.
Key responsibilities include:
- Proactively hunting for compromised credentials across various platforms and systems.
- Investigating and analyzing potential password leaks and data breaches.
- Collaborating with other cybersecurity services to implement strategies for password security enhancement.
- Providing recommendations for improving password management practices and policies.
- Contributing to incident response efforts related to compromised credentials and password leaks.
- Staying updated on emerging threats and industry best practices related to password security
Profile recherché
- Minimum 1-3 years of expertise in cybersecurity or related field.
- Proficiency in conducting password hunting activities and analyzing compromised credentials.
- Strong understanding of password management principles and best practices.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks and standards.
- Expertise with password cracking tools and techniques.
- Ability to analyze and interpret large datasets related to compromised credentials.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Programming and Scripting: Proficiency in programming languages such as Python,
- PowerShell, or similar scripting languages to automate security tasks, conduct data analysis, and develop custom tools and scripts for password hunting and analysis.
- Strong communication required, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
