Main Job Responsibilities:

  • Negotiate small to medium contract renewals directly with the supplier or through the Sourcing team while complying with governance rules and company policies, particularly about necessary approvals, tax rules, and accounting classifications.
  • Establish strong supplier relationships on behalf of the Bell team, ensure the supplier meets performance targets, and monitor any impact a change in the supplier’s business could have on Bell.
  • Contract administration including documentation of contract details and financial information in the inventory tool. In collaboration with the team, assist in creating and updating all documentation used to describe the state of contract management, as well as the drafting of financial reports intended for various organizational levels.
  • Collaborate with Bell internal stakeholders to collect and validate requirements for the purchase, revision, or cancellation of various types of NTS support contracts and work in collaboration with the Procurement team to meet contractual requirements for corporate compliance and security.
  • Communicate and document contractual information when entering into and upon closure of a contract. Present recommendations to the team and Director NTS Contract Management.
  • Assist various NTS Delivery teams as required to ensure supplier prices on new software or hardware purchases are in line with Bell Procurement pricing guidelines (entails performing a coordination role with Bell Procurement and supplier).
  • Perform financial activities specific to assigned contracts: budget forecasting, cost tracking, and monthly reporting with explanations of budget variance. Meet financial objectives outlined in the contract portfolio with an emphasis on cost reduction. Participate in yearly planning cycles with the Director - NTS Contract Management.
  • Perform all activities required to process or verify purchase orders and invoices related to NTS contracts
  • Participate in inventory reconciliations and verification of software or hardware equipment from suppliers.
  • Work with the Contract Management team to identify workflow gaps to improve and streamline departmental processes.

Profile Essential Qualifications/ Must-Have :

Collaboration, Interpersonal and Networking :

  1. Negotiate small to medium contract renewals directly with the supplier or through the Sourcing team while complying with governance rules and company policies
  2. Strong Relationship Management skills to effectively partner with the Vendor to achieve business unit and Experience with vendor relationship management, preferably in an IT/Network setting.

Analytical:

  1. Strong analytical skills and ability to link technical tasks to relevant business processes and requirements
  2. Experience with data tracking, reporting, and quantitative analysis using multiple data sources
  3. Proven problem-solving skills.


Communications :

  1. Excellent communication and presentation skills and ability to understand and articulate to all levels of management representing both technical and business perspectives
  2. Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.

Time Management:

  1. Excellent time management and organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple contracts at the same time.


Attention to detail:

  1. Detail-oriented, ensuring accuracy and completeness of information.

Other Skills/Nice To Have:

  • Verbal and written communication in both official languages (English and French) is an asset
  • Background in network or information technology
  • Project Management competency or certification is an asset.
