We are currently seeking a Contract & Global Trade Specialist to join a major multinational industrial group that has recently established itself in Morocco.

Reporting to the general management, you will work closely with the Group's legal, contract, compliance, and global trade resources, as well as with various Moroccan stakeholders, including local business leaders and suppliers.

We are looking for an expert in commercial contracts and global trade to support two primary functions at a new production site in Casablanca, (A) general contract support, and (B) global trade compliance :

A. Contractual Activity:
• Draft and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements with parties located around the globe, both in the private and public sectors.
• Stay informed about new laws and changes to existing laws that impact operations.
• Work closely with key local teams to provide timely, compliant, and pragmatic advice on contractual matters.
• Conduct ethics training and investigations as needed.
• Provide consultation, discussion, drafting, and resolution of ethics-related matters reported to the ethics department.
• Review and provide guidance on governance-related policies and procedures.
• Support internal and external audits.
• Ensure the company complies with all legal and regulatory requirements as required by applicable law and any other relevant legislation or regulation.

B. Global Trade :
• Preparation, filing, and monitoring of applicable local government license requirements to meet all transfer and export needs.
• Support any local government reporting requirements arising from the company’s activities.
• Actively develop and sustain key points of contact relationships with local government.
• Actively monitor the development and trending in local government global trade requirements.

Profile recherché

What You Need to Succeed:
• A Law degree, with over 7 years of experience, including 3 - 5 years in drafting contracts, negotiations, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance.
• Demonstrated experience working with Moroccan trade laws and local laws and regulations.
• Excellent drafting skills and communication skills in French and English.
• Demonstrated ability to exercise judgment and initiative and work collaboratively in a diverse organization.
• Demonstrated commitment to integrity and honesty in all business dealings.
• Excellent problem-solving, reasoning, research, and persuasive skills.
• Ability to learn quickly and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Self-starter with initiative and ability to work within time constraints and adapt to changing situations.
• Facility with Microsoft programs - Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel.
