Job Title: Cellular and Toxicology Laboratory Technician (CDD)?
Job description:
The African Sustainable Agriculture Research Institute (ASARI) at ?Mohammed VI Polytechnic University ??(UM6P) in Laayoune City is seeking applications for a ?technician specializing in Cellular and Toxicology ?Laboratory procedures.?
Candidates should hold a diploma (Bac +2) or technical degree (such as BTS or DUT) with ?professional ?experience in laboratory techniques related to cellular biology, toxicology, or ?related fields. The ?successful candidate will be responsible for conducting cellular and ?toxicology tests, assisting in research ?projects, and ensuring compliance with laboratory ?protocols.?
Key duties:
Responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Performing cellular culture procedures, including cell maintenance, passage, and viability ?assessment.?
- Conducting toxicology tests using established protocols, including cytotoxicity assays, cell ?proliferation assays, and apoptosis assays.?
- Preparing laboratory reagents and solutions required for cellular and toxicology ?experiments.?
Assisting in the organization and execution of research activities under the guidance of ?senior researchers.?
- Oversee the care, breeding, and maintenance of laboratory animals, particularly mice and rats, ?ensuring their welfare and health.?
- Collecting, preparing, and managing samples for cellular and toxicology analyses, ensuring ?accuracy and adherence to experimental protocols.?
- Providing technical support during experiments, including operating and maintaining ?laboratory equipment.?
- Contributing to data collection and analysis processes, under supervision, to facilitate ?research outcomes.?
- Assisting in the documentation and recording of experimental procedures and results.?
- Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and protocols in laboratory settings.?
- Collaborating closely with research team members to achieve project objectives ?efficiently.?

Criteria of the candidate:
- Diploma (Bac +2) or technical degree (such as BTS or DUT) in Biotechnology, Biology, ?Chemistry, or related field from a recognized University or technical institute.?
- Experience in laboratory techniques related to cellular culture and toxicology testing.?
- Knowledge of safety regulations and ethical guidelines for laboratory work.?
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in maintaining records and inventory.?
