Mission
You will carry out and coordinate carbon footprint modeling projects and propose technical reduction solutions, while assessing the economic relevance of projects, taking into account their environmental impact. As such, you may be required to carry out the following activities:
• Carrying out the entity's carbon footprint (collecting data and defining action plans),
• Supporting OINIS technical departments in modeling the environmental impacts, risks and opportunities of projects
• Updating methodology and reporting
• Leading and supporting teams in developing their skills in project carbon footprint analysis, and in presenting the results.
Main activities
Define, develop, implement and manage the carbon program :
1. OINIS carbon footprint
o Model OINIS's carbon footprint on the 3 scopes in coordination with the various departments
o Define and manage OINIS' carbon trajectory
o Maintain contact with stakeholders, consolidate and share key information
o Monitor developments and update modeling accordingly
2. Carbon budget
o In collaboration with OINIS Finance and the relevant staff in each department, coordinate the establishment of the carbon budget by department.
o Manage the consolidation and monitoring of the carbon budget throughout the year
3. Project carbon footprint
o Define the methodology for modeling a project's carbon footprint (consolidate the work of other Orange entities,
ensure consistency with the GHG Protocol and take into account the specificities of OINIS).
o Develop the toolkit and update the methodological guide, taking into account user feedback and
developments (Group CSR, recommendations of external standards, etc.).
o Roll out training sessions on the methodology for modeling a project's carbon footprint, and support employees in building their skills.
o In collaboration with the Governance & Performance department, define CSR criteria, set up the organization and contribute to project reviews.
o Lead the expert community and reviews of modeling results.
4. Departmental carbon footprint
o Coordinate requests for carbon footprint work from our various stakeholders (Orange Business,
Orange Innovation, Orange France, etc.).
o Manage and consolidate studies carried out
o Contribute to certain strategic studies for the entity
Dimensions
• People Management:
o Does not have direct reports, but has responsibility for animation of the operational teams in Directions/departments regarding Carbon footprint
o Can act as a team lead on transversal projects with our internal and external stakeholders
• Financial:
o Does not have individual budget
o Will have a look at the carbon budgets of the Direction and ensure that they are consistent
Profile recherché
o Knowledge of networks: transmission, IP transport and SDN / NFV virtualization technologies
o Mastery of carbon footprint calculation methods
o Knowledge of environmental regulations and sustainable development standards, and an appetite for following their evolution
o Analytical mindset for implementing tools and methodologies
