Key Responsibilities / Deliverables :
- Oversee the day-to-day license management and utilization, recycling, re-assignment and inventory of all software or hardware assets in the organization or for customers.
- Ensure that all assets within the contracts are maintained with the correct processes for new/renewed/changed or ended Configurations Items.
- Plan, monitor, and record software licenses to ensure compliance with vendor contracts and license maintenance requirements.
- Enact and maintain a proactive Software Asset Management (SAM) program or hardware devices. Continually work towards replacing and enhancing reactive processes where relevant.
- Generate, distribute, and review relevant management reports and issue recommendations.
- Define purchasing recommendations that support business goals, in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
- Provide direction to the creation and maintenance of an effective Vendor Management program.
- Develop, implement and promote policies, processes and procedures for software acquisitions, installations, usage and disposition to oversee quality control throughout their lifecycles.
- Conduct and report software asset reconciliation and audit activities on a timely basis, including financial, licensing, warranty, and maintenance/support contract information.
- Monitor and analyze trends in company spending and software asset inventory control in order to make recommendations for the future, and to identify areas for possible savings and/or asset optimization.

- Solid working knowledge of current IT technologies.
- Fluent in English and French (speaking and writing).
Education, Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in the Computer Science or equivalent experience

- Budgeting, inventory, and cost-management skills
- Excellent influence, negotiation and persuasion skills with a strong customer/partnering mentality.
