Job Summary:
We are seeking a qualified and passionate Accounting and Law Secondary Teacher to join our school community. The ideal candidate will have expertise in teaching accounting and law within the Moroccan education system. As an Accounting and Law Secondary Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction, fostering critical thinking skills, and preparing students for academic success and realworld applications. This position requires a deep understanding of accounting principles and legal concepts, excellent communication skills, and the ability to create engaging learning experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver comprehensive lessons in accounting and law tailored to the Moroccan secondary education curriculum.
- Teach students fundamental accounting principles, including financial statements, budgeting, and taxation laws, using relevant examples and case studies.
- Introduce students to basic legal concepts, such as civil law, commercial law, and labor law, and their application in the Moroccan legal system
- Incorporate interactive teaching methods, group discussions, and practical activities to enhance student engagement and understanding.
- Foster critical thinking, analytical skills, and ethical awareness among students in relation to accounting and legal issues.
- Assess student learning and progress through a variety of formative and summative assessments, providing timely feedback to students and parents.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued,respected, and supported in their learning journey.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects and initiatives that integrate accounting and law with other subject areas.
- Stay informed about updates and developments in accounting standards, legal regulations, and educational practices, incorporating relevant information into lesson plans and activities.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills, pedagogical knowledge, and subject matter expertise.
Profile recherché
- Successful experience in working in an international schools (preferably in the UK) with pupils in the age group you are teaching subject
- Experience delivering at IGCSE and IBDP / A Level
- Demonstrated experience in inspiring pupils in a stimulating learning
- environment Demonstrated experience of using ICT to promote learning
- Ability to analyse student data to support student achievement
- Demonstrated experience in raising achievement and setting challenging targets
- Strong commitment to supporting all aspects of our programme, especially through participating actively in the extra-curricular activities and contributing to the life of the school community
