Job Purpose:

To provide support on assigned Quality, Safety and Security related activities and to monitor & follow up on Flight Data Monitoring program under the direction of line manager. Follows up on corrective measures in line with Air Arabia Safety Management System and regulatory bodies’ requirements to ensure compliance with the same across assigned functions and areas of operation

Key Result Responsibilities:

  • Actively participates in promoting safety & security awareness across the company.
  • Assists Line Manager in developing and implementing Air Arabia’s security & safety policies and procedures and related manuals in accordance with CAA rules and regulation and in accordance with Company’s overall policies, procedures, and company objectives.
  • Proposes safety & security bulletins for the purpose of sharing experience with the company.
  • Ensures Flight Data Monitoring and events analysis through Airfase are carried properly and timely.
  • Supports the Line manager in analyzing and investigating FDM events and hazard reports.
  • Raises FDM Occurrence report and briefs concerned crew accordingly
  • Participates in the preparation of quarterly and annual reports related to Flight Data Monitoring outcomes.
  • Updates and follows-up on trends of safety performance indicators related to Flight Data monitoring.
  • Disseminate flight safety information and promotes the exchange of such information company wide.
  • Assists Line manager in Security & Safety audits and inspections and to follow up on effective implementation of the corrective actions.
  • Assists in monitoring compliance with existing Flight Operations Regulations and Standard Operations Procedures and suggest improvements within the organization.
  • Assists in monitoring the “Aircraft Operator Security Program” for Air Arabia ensuring its compliance with the “National Aviation Security Program” and aviation authorities (CAA) in the respective areas of operation.
  • Generates function related reports on regular basis and provides management with highlights / potential areas of concerns.
  • Performs any other duties as assigned by the line manager.
Profile recherché

Qualifications (Academic, training, languages):

  • Bachelor’s Degree Or Diploma combined with needed experience and exposure
  • CPL or ATPL or Aircraft Technician license/ Engineering qualification would be an advantage
  • Certificates related to Auditing, Quality and/or Compliance such as IOSA or ISO would be an advantage
  • Professional membership of associations related to the Aviation/Airlines industry is an advantage.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Advanced Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Good written and verbal communication skills: reporting, presentations, etc. in English and in French is required

Work Experience:

  • 2+ years of related working experience in Quality or Safety or Security in the Aviation/Airline industry.
  • Exposure to the Civil Aviation Authorities and regulatory bodies’ legal requirements, preferably GCAA/DAC and/or EASA would be an advantage
  • Familiar with regulations pertaining to flight operations, procedures, and manuals.
  • Knowledgeable with working exposure to Internal & External Audit practices.
  • Aircrafts technical knowledge and relative exposure to line operations is a plus.
  • Possesses a good knowledge in company documentation.
